You know how Edward Scissorhands portrays the cookie cutter suburban neighbourhood to be so perfect it becomes creepy? This book is a bit like that but instead of the introduction of a scissor-handed teenager, the citizens of this community get some unsolved murders to inject the unexpected into their quaint existence. I don’t mean to imply this book is as good as that movie but I did enjoy this whodunnit more than I expected.
