A young girl growing up in Nigeria has big dreams and despite everything bring stacked against her, she never gives up. Some of her experiences are truly terrible but she never assigns blame. She is deeply forgiving of the people who cause her harm and tries to really understand the people behind the malicious acts. It is rare and admirable for one so young to have such a clear idea of who she wants to be. It is striking how all it took for her to improve her situation was for one well-positioned person to stand on her side for a brief time. I would say this is a story of perseverance and hope that sheds some light on the realities of life for some people in Nigeria.
