A story inspired by Canada’s infamous Highway of Tears, I thought this was going to be mostly Gone Girl-esque at the beginning but it did take some unexpected and interesting White Fang-like turns. This book is a good way to put a spotlight on the missing women associated with the notorious highway although the story and location in the book are fictional. It is told from the point of view of two different girls/women and as much as I liked the first one, I was continuously annoyed by the second one.
