The Woman in the Window

by A. J. Finn

Listened to January 2022

An interesting read reminiscent of Hitchcock’s Rear Window, this thriller has many twists and turns. A house-bound ex-phycologist has a tenuous hold on reality and the reader is constantly trying to discern truth from hallucination. I would classify this as what I call Gone Girl genre. It has also been made into a movie released by Netflix and there is now also a series called The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. The series is a dark parody of these types of books and I thought it was quite clever but definitely does poke fun at this book. So, there are many ways you could consume this story.
